With a very solid performance Roger Federer is the new champion in Paris. He beats Rafa Nadal in a average Match 6:3 6:4. Meanwhile Rafa was struggeling with some new knee issues. «I mean I feel really sorry for Rafa. It seems like he’s fighting with hisself really rough and I think,mentally he is going through a hard time», said the Swiss Maestro. But anyone who knows Rafa, knows he can deal with this diseases. He’s a hard worker and a fighter but he needs to find his heart of a lion to be as competitive as it gets.  «Roger and I had a really good four hour conversation about mindset and how to handle with competition a couple of weeks ago. I think this was really inspirational for both of us», said the Spaniard. We only wanna see him back in the good old shape ASAP.

But praise also to Federer who put in a lot of really hard work to be where he is. It’s a recordbreaking 11th title this year. Three Grandslams, seven MASTERS Series and the title in Queens is the astonnishing palmares of Federer’s 2019. Now he’s looking forward to finish the year with a title at the World Tour Finals. «I’m absolutely happy how it all worked out for me throughout this season and I’m more than happy, even without winning the World Tour Finals. But of course I’d like to get this big title once.»
